True LA Southern Louisiana Crockpot Beef Stew

Deep. Spicy. Slow-Cooked Soul Food.

This hearty stew is packed with the authentic spice blend and savory goodness that defines Southern Louisiana cooking. Perfect for a cozy day when you want dinner to do the work for you.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into 2-inch cubes

  • 2 tbsp True LA Southern Louisiana seasoning

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 celery stalks, sliced

  • 4 large carrots, cut into chunks

  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 1 bell pepper (green or red), chopped

  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra depth)

  • 1 bay leaf

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped green onions and fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

  1. Rub beef cubes generously with True LA Southern Louisiana seasoning.

  2. Place beef in the crockpot along with onions, garlic, celery, carrots, potatoes, and bell pepper.

  3. Pour diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients.

  4. Add bay leaf and smoked paprika if using.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours or on high for 4–6 hours, until beef is tender and veggies are cooked through.

  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or extra seasoning if desired.

  7. Remove bay leaf before serving.

  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and parsley.
